| REMETALLING
ONLY : If you have, or have access to machining facilities and only require casting, prices are from £25.00 per bearing, or pair of split bearings. We are happy to deal by post which may be particularly suited to overseas customers. REMETALLING and MACHINING : Direct cast big-end bearings from £55.00 per rod. Shell big-ends from £65.00 per rod. Main bearings from £75.00 per bearing. This includes line boring. CRANKSHAFT GRINDING : From £13.00 per journal. All other machining /manufacturing/repair services are charged at an hourly rate of £25.00 per hour. EXAMPLE PRICINGS... A typical pre-war four cylinder engine with a three bearing crank, for a complete bottom-end rebuild including crank grinding would cost £566.00... Rolls Royce 20 / 25 complete bottom-end would be £1349.00... Austin 7, four rods and a regrind would be £252.00 Johnson Engineers Limited is not VAT registered. |
